Lottie London Blush Crush
So I needed a blush because the one I have is almost finished. So at the expo, I saw this one by Lottie London and it was so pretty but I decided to look around at other stalls and see what blushes they had. Not many had reasonably priced blushes and the colour I wanted so I went back there. The dark pink I wanted was sold out. That was so sad. I took the lighter pink one and it is just as good. It looks pretty natural and I apply it with a buffer brush so it looks nice and pink but not like I took a bath in it. Ofcourse you'd also want to apply it lightly so it looks natural.
It is a nice texture. Like not cream based but not so powdery either. You don't have to use much because the product catches easily on the brush. So it will last you a good while.
It was R80. I don't know if that was the expo price or their general price but it was worth the buy.
Ponds skin Brightening serum Mask
So I got this sample from Beauty Revolution. I went on Saturday and paid R50 for it and got another one for free. You could take another one for free or you could get a make up bag or band. Though, someone who went on Sunday, told me she got the mask and bag for free, and didn't pay for anything, so I don't know how that works.
So, this mask is actually like a sheet, not one to apply on, so basically, not liquid. It is quite easy to put on and it would be best to do over a sink because the serum drips abit. There's holes for your eyes, nose and mouth It looks like a wet wipe with holes. LOL.
It feels cool when you have it on and you only need it on for 15 min.
The best part, you don't have to rinse it off. You just peel it off, and dab the excess serum into your skin. Your skin feels cooler, brighter and a little rejuvenated.
It's a quick and easy mask to use.
Just make sure to unfold the mask carefully so u get all the areas covered. The mask looks scary lol.

Vintage Beauty Cold cream
This cream is "infused with a blend of oils and floral waters". It is like a moisturizer/ Vaseline mix texture. It can be used as a daily moisturizer. When I did use it religiously, it made my skin feel soft. So it really does work and makes a difference. I was just very lazy or rushed to use it daily.
It can be used as a Make-up remover; cleanser; moisturizer or mask. I use it as part of my skin care routine for make-up removal. It works well. My face feels so cleansed and the product is so natural.
I would buy more of this. It really is worth the buy because of its multi-purpose.
Mine is almost finished, but there's the texture. The way I use it is very "all over the place"; mainly because when you are removing make up, you first have to convince yourself to do it because it took you so long to do it and then you are so tired, so it is... well, an effort.
Davines Silver conditioner
So my hair has these uneven yellow tones because I went to someone to colour it who was not experienced with my hair and she made it too yellow. I went to her because she was nearby and I had a two month old baba so I didn't have the heart to go for too long and too far. I did end up doing it again by my trusted, usual person, Irina and she tried her best to get rid of the yellow but she couldn't save it. It has to grow out. She blended it as much as she possibly could. SOB.
So, to fix this mess, I wanted a colour shampoo to help with the yellow tones. The people at the salon and a few other people suggested that if you cannot afford both a silver shampoo and conditioner, it is best to go for the silver conditioner because it acts as a treatment to your hair as well, removing any brassiness and roughness. It also assists with reducing these unwanted yellow tones. I don't usually get much time to apply it, but once every two weeks should be fine. Gives your hair some TLC. Though the silver shampoo would really work for removing those yellow tones.
I use the brand Davines, that you can usually get from Carlton. It smells nice and I think they are all violet-toned. I asked the stylists there how to use it and they said you apply it to your hair like conditioner when your hair is damp and then leave it on for twenty minutes. Then rinse it out. I prefer to rinse it out in cold water because cold water, according to google, closes the cuticles and pores in your scalp and actually makes your hair shine.
So far, from the three times I have used it. It always makes my hair feel softer, the yellow- tones darken slightly and it smells great!
It could last a while, depending on how much you use. I only use on the roots and some of my hair. Not the scalp because I am aiming at getting rid of the brassiness and yellow tone.
Loreal Charcoal mask
I don't usually use masks because I am lazy. I would mainly use these homemade masks with tumeric and milk and all that when I would use masks.
For fun, I decided to try one of these Loreal masks that I saw in a magazine that I got from Muddy Princess.
So, I like that you do not have to apply a thick layer of this mask.
I like that it doesn't run and drip.
I like that it does not have to be kept on for a very long time. No, actually I don't, because some days I wanna dip my feet in water and fall asleep with it on but I have to wash it out. (LOL but that ain't their fault).
So, this is a detox one. I know it worked because a day after I applied it, little pimples started surfacing. I don't get those, so it was sort of proof that the product was detoxing my skin. I don't do it often but if you are one who loves masks; I think you can use this once a week. Though maybe once in two weeks would be better. It also makes your face a little clearer. Just don't attempt to use it a few days before a big event or outing and be shocked when your face has pimples.
Rather use it a week in advance to be safe, because everyone's skin is different. There is no telling how you would react.
This is a photo from google , I think Amazon's page. Though I get mine from Clicks.

SWIITCH BEAUTY AIRMATTE CRAYON
So Swiitch Beauty launched this product at the Beauty Revolution festival this past weekend.
I generally love Swiitch products since she started launching them. I mean I have the Slays for Days palettte when it was still on their intial release because the eye shadow pans were not even named yet. Ofcourse, if you know Swiitch, you know that they work on their products and release them gradually and wait for feedback and then try to better them with their research. So, atleast you know that you are getting good quality products and your opinion matters. I also own the Holy Grail, which comes in handy for, well, everything. I use it as a highlighter, pink lipstick; blue and red eyeliner that came in handy when I did a superwoman look for Comic Con Africa. I also own the wand brush set ( not the Harry potter wands) lol. I don't know if they sell those brushes anymore, but some of those brushes do amazing application for blush and contouring (I don't really know how to contour).
So this Airmatte lipstick is really awesome. I don't usually like lipstick because of the whole catching on your teeth thing. If I do use lipstick, I usually put gloss over, but that also catches your hair to stick to your lips LOL.
Anyway, Matte is awesome, and this feels really nice on my lips. It doesn't feel like liquid at all so once it is on your lips, it is there to temporarily stain that space. It doesn't seem to pull too much product when you purse your lips, as most lipsticks do. It is the first time I used it, and through the day, the colour stayed in tact on my lips. Of course, not as much as when I first applied it because I drank coffee, water, ate lunch and still had the colour on. So it's a nice buy.
I like the colour also. I chose the colour, "You're welcome" and it is a nice blend of not too pink, not redish but like purpley undertone vibes. I don't know, something about it is just pretty.
The product design itself is a bit different. Like it has a piece that retracts in the back but it is not for the lip stick. The lipstick itself is a crayon. That plastic piece was probably put just to neaten the product. I like the colour of the product exterior. Like a baby pink / dusty pink. Apparently you sharpen the crayon to get more lipstick out. Lets see how long it lasts.
This is the one I have named "You're welcome"
